Rosemagali Diaz

California State University, Long Beach

Rosemagali grew up in a family where hard work and responsibility were non-negotiable. Her parents taught her the value of consistency—showing up for others, giving back to the community, and staying committed to your goals, no matter the obstacles.

As captain of her high school soccer team, Rosemagali led with focus and dependability, balancing practices, schoolwork, and leadership with quiet confidence. Even after an ankle injury threatened her senior season, she powered through physical therapy to return to the field stronger than before.

In the classroom, she challenged herself through the Distinguished Scholars Program and earned recognition in subjects like Sports Medicine, History, and Math. Her proudest moment came when her Sports Medicine teacher invited her to intern at his chiropractic clinic—an opportunity she earned through dedication, trust, and hard work. That experience affirmed her passion for medicine and gave her a glimpse of what she hopes to do in the future.

Now studying at Cal State Long Beach, Rosemagali is building a future in sports medicine rooted in service, compassion, and strength.
